Welcome to Fraser River Upcycle Outpost, a family friendly immersive experience circling around the Fraser River in Canada. Built by scientists Violet, Whittaker, and Isaac, these inventive geniuses decided to set up an outpost next to the Fraser River to do research and assist with environmental This attraction is made up of two components: the preshow area and the ride itself. The pre-show area is our"lineless queue", which invites guests to interact with characters, purchase food and merchandise, and explore the technology of the outpost.

Working with Sol Markarian (Interdisciplinary Computing and the Arts Major), Andrew Bartleet (Civil Engineering Major), and Brian Tran (Mechanical Engineering Major with a focus in Bioengineering), we created an educational and fun attraction for guests of all ages. My main role on this project was writing the development paper and creating half the concept art (like the poster to the left). In the end, we placed in the top 15 out of 64 teams. Dive in and let's explore the wonders of Upcycle Outpost.

My main focus of this competition was the development paper. My job was to flush out our story while supporting how we could feasibly tell our story using different technologies. It was our guide map (of sorts) for our project. Click on the guide map on the right to view the PDF!

I also assisted Sol with concept art. I created the poster, guide map, "fishy" phone booth, "shrinky navigator". W.I.C., and swimming with the salmon scene. I also assisted with the layout and descriptions seen on this concept art board. Click on the image to download the PDF for a closer look!
